Nottingham International Market
The Nottingham International Market is a unique street market, held in Nottingham’s Old Market Square from Thursday to Monday. It brings a festival feel to the city in addition to a variety of stalls. You’ll find exotic world cooking, home-made, healthy and traceable foods together with craft stalls. These have ethical traded, handmade, eco-friendly arts, crafts, clothing, jewellery, accessories and original ideas.
LoveTaliesin Jewellery will be at the heart of the Nottingham International Market. We’re there with Sue’s hand made and carefully selected jewellery. You can see pieces made from Sterling (925) silver, semi-precious gemstones, Tibetan Silver, Swarovski Crystal Elements. Then there’s hand-cast acrylic and resin, abalone, hand-made Steampunk jewellery, bracelets made from leather and stainless steel. Finally, look out for dichroic glass and more. All this will be in our white gazebo with the sparkle of jewellery and the LoveTaliesin banner.
The event celebrates the street trading tradition that is common to all countries throughout the world.
Street trading is still a way of life in many countries in the East and is now seeing a resurgence in the West.
This unique five-day street market with a festival feel will be right in the Nottingham city centre in the Old Market Square.
The exciting Nottingham International Market will showcase products unique to particular regions from around the globe that bring together colour and character with sustainable business practices and originality.
As well as our jewellery, the event will feature exotic world cooking, home-made, healthy and traceable foods together with ethically traded, eco-friendly arts, crafts, clothing and accessories.
The large pedestrianized Old Market Square is at the heart of the city and throughout history has been a meeting place for the people of Nottingham and the place for local events.
The Nottingham International Market is easy to get to because there are great bus and tram services. On the southern side of Old Market Square is South Parade. This is where you will find a Nottingham Express Transit tram stop with the two tram lines running in both directions.
Nottingham has a healthy number of independent shops as well as all the major chains and has great people-pulling power.
